Geraldine Monterroso, LPC
Clinical Supervisor
With over two decades of clinical experience, Geraldine brings a rich, multicultural perspective to her work as a therapist and clinical supervisor. She began her career in Venezuela, where she practiced as a psychologist and served as a university professor, grounding her approach in deep compassion, curiosity, and respect for the human experience.
After moving to the United States, she continued her therapeutic work, supporting individuals and families through complex trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, self-esteem challenges, and unresolved childhood wounds. Her clinical practice is rooted in humanistic, Gestalt, and narrative traditions, believing that healing emerges through awareness, authentic connection, and the power of one’s personal story.
A natural mentor, Geraldine has a passion for guiding developing clinicians. She has extensive experience supervising interns, supporting early-career therapists, and offering consultation to licensed professionals seeking to deepen their therapeutic skills or navigate complex clinical cases.
