Karla is offering Telehealth and in-person sessions
Pronouns: She, Her, Ella
Karla Diaz (She/Her/Ella) believes the distinction between a threat and a challenge often lies in whether we have the resources to face what feels overwhelming. For those who are hypervigilant to threats in their environment, this line can become blurred, making the world feel unsafe or unmanageable. Her work is shaped by experience with Spanish-speaking immigrants, first-generation Americans, and individuals navigating the complexities of C-PTSD, self-esteem challenges, and identity development.
Drawing from Hakomi psychotherapy, Gestalt, and other somatic approaches, she guides clients in unraveling emotional and somatic patterns, reconnecting with their innate strengths, and fostering a more integrated sense of self.
She is inspired by the interplay between altered states of consciousness, spiritual emergence, and the therapeutic process.
These interests inform her work with individuals seeking to integrate profound experiences or navigate periods of personal transformation.
