Claudia Muro, LPC, LAC, ACS, PMH-C

Founder & Clinical Director

Claudia Muro (She/Her/Ella) is the founder and clinical director of Mirador Counseling. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help you uncover your strengths and resources to overcome difficulties in your life. She is a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with a background in Humanistic Psychology. Additionally, she is a Maternal Mental Health Specialist with a PMH-C certification.

  • She provides specialized care to individuals navigating the complexities of mental health during the perinatal and postpartum period.

  • She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy. Drawing from Person-Centered, Gestalt, and EMDR techniques, she tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of each client.

  • She has extensive experience providing Clinical Supervision, empowering and mentoring fellow mental health professionals to overcome challenges, embrace their strengths, and build confidence in their practice.
