Internship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Mirador Counseling internship program!

Mirador Counseling provides a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which individuals can explore their current challenges in order to move forward with confidence and purpose. We are rooted in the belief that all people can improve their lives by addressing the emotions and behaviors of past moments in order to heal and thrive from within.

We invite you to apply for an unpaid clinical internship where you can take your academic knowledge and apply to a real life experience in a private practice setting.

Location:

Wheat Ridge Co 80033

Supervision:
One-hour weekly supervision, monthly group supervision, triadic as needed.

Hours:
Mirador Counseling offers a flexible hours; availability will be discussed during interview process.

Approved Universities:
Regis University
Metropolitan State University
University of Denver
Naropa University

Internship requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program

• Commitment of 20 hours per week

• Proof of liability insurance

• Minimum of 9 month commitment

• One hour individual supervision per week

• Completion of all clinical paperwork

• Ability to work independently

• Professional and compassionate attitude

• Background check
